You can control your document's magnification, the number of views, and the display mode.
In addition, you can pan the view of a document easily. This is helpful if you zoom in and can no longer see the entire graphic.
Setting document magnification
The range of magnification in Fireworks is from 6% to 6400%.
The Magnify pop-up menu in the View Controls toolbar, and the Magnify tool and Hand tool in the Toolbox.
To zoom in on a document:

Choose the Magnify tool and click inside a document window where you want the new centerpoint. |

To zoom out on a document:

To zoom in on a specific area:
Drag a selection area with the Magnify tool.
To zoom out based on a selection area:
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Macintosh) and drag a selection area with the Magnify tool.
To return to 100% magnification:
Double-click the Magnify tool in the Toolbox.
To pan around your document:
1 | Choose the Hand tool. The Hand cursor appears. |
2 | Press and hold down the mouse button and drag the Hand cursor. |
